For treatment to be effective, it must evolve. As part of our evolution, we’ve incorporated the latest evidence-based treatments to give our clients the skills needed to maintain their sobriety and improve their mental health.

Since its launch in 2000, Clearview Treatment Programs has provided the most current dual diagnosis treatments available to help its clients achieve a lasting recovery. This year, Clearview has enhanced its premier Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program to integrate even more proven evidence-based therapies.

“For treatment to be effective, it must evolve,” said Michael Roy, LCSW, MSW, executive director and founder of Clearview Treatment Programs. “As part of our evolution, we’ve incorporated the latest evidence-based treatments to give our clients the skills needed to maintain their sobriety and improve their mental health issues.”

In addition to the core addiction treatments that have always been fundamental to Clearview’s programming, Clearview’s Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center now includes:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness
  • Seeking Safety for Addiction and Trauma
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

“Our enhanced programming was implemented with the collaboration of leading experts, who helped us create daily programming that will help clients achieve their goals more effectively,” Roy said.

Those experts include Charles Swenson, MD, an internationally noted Dialectical Behavior Therapy trainer who is the DBT consultant for Clearview Treatment Programs.

In collaboration with Swenson, Clearview incorporated comprehensive DBT throughout its levels of care, from its dual diagnosis residential treatment program to its outpatient DBT treatment program. Throughout Clearview’s continuum of care, clients can receive individual DBT therapy, DBT skills groups several times per week, and phone coaching as needed.

Clearview's Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center team comprises therapists who are intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy by Behavioral Tech, Marsha Linehan’s DBT training organization and/or other training organizations.
