Harrisonburg, VA (PRWEB) January 30, 2013
Since launching V Dusk Falling, an interactive vampire themed series, on Android via Google Play on Halloween 2012, Raincrow Games has watched as vampire clans have appeared all across the globe. From New York and San Francisco to London, Paris, and Mexico City players are participating in the “hunting season” known as the Winter Tribunal.
Raincrow’s Chief Creative Officer, Travis Fox commented, "It’s like Axis & Allies on your smart phone- but with Vampires. The enthusiastic fan mail we are receiving helps fuel the iterative process; they know what they want regarding the game experience and we’re [Raincrow Games] are committed to delivering. We have something unique and special in V and will continue to push the LBG envelope. This is just the beginning.”
V is an MMO/RPG game of strategy; hunt other players, create powerful clans, and rule your city or the world. Location based missions, distinct player talents, and lunar events are all driven by episodic storytelling.
The introduction of the new virtual movement mechanic “Janus Mirror” addresses the Achilles Heel of LBG gaming. Getting players off the couch and engaged in movement based gaming is a challenge, a game has to properly incentivize players to get engaged and stay engaged. V’s game experience hinges on gamifying a trip to the grocery store or Starbucks but with virtual movement players can navigate the map similarly to Life is Crime or Shadow Cities.
More new features, additional story elements, and enhanced look and feel are scheduled for regular release on both Android and iOS platforms.
