The online jeweller is an authorised distributor of genuine Preciosa crystals, the Czech stones known globally for their exceptional optical and artistic qualities.

Colman is also a well-known fashion stylist, jewellery book author and regular guest on Jewellery Maker TV, and is established as a leading silver clay and shrink plastic designer.

Her commission from Crystal Avenue will see her using Preciosa crystals to craft some unique designs with the sun and peacock as inspirations.

A spokesperson for Crystal Avenue said: "We're absolutely thrilled to be working with Natalia for what is sure to be a very special range of Preciosa crystals.

"Especially through her writings and work on silver clay and shrink plastic, Natalia has proven herself as a leading designer of individual jewellery pieces and we can't wait to see her innovative take on our Preciosa crystals."

Colman added: "I'm hugely looking forward to working with Crystal Avenue on this range. I'm always attracted to jewellery that is truly unique and together I'm sure we can create some genuinely inspirational designs."

Preciosa crystals are renowned for their high brilliance and perfect cut in every single piece, and are also known as rhinestone crystals or Preciosa rhinestones. Rhinestones are sometimes referred to as diamante due to the similar way they shine in the sun to real diamonds.

Crystal Avenue is a supplier of wholesale and retail preciosa crystals in a wide array of colours, shapes, sizes and finishes. Made to the highest standards of workmanship, the crystals blend Preciosa’s historic tradition of Czech crystal manufacturing with cutting edge technology and style.

Among the range is a selection of sew on crystals, such as the Navette, Triangle or two-holed Pear Drop Sew on Stone.

These crystals can be glued to fabric using special purpose adhesives, although for larger stones it is better to sew them into place.
