Author of the Handbook of Parchment Craft Basics and a Parchment Craft Guild Fellow, Williams will be using Crystal Avenue's Preciosa crystals on her card-making designs.

Williams will be able to choose from the array of colours, shapes, sizes and finishes that are available in the unique Preciosa range.

Wendy C Miller, Director at Crystal Avenue said: "We are thrilled to be working with Linda, who is a very talented and original artist. She produces some very creative and innovative designs.

“She and Crystal Avenue are a great fit for this project, and I know that a firm favourite of hers already is the Peacock Mix, with its exciting array of blues, purples, golds and greens.”

Parchment craft, or Pergamano, dates back to 15th Century Europe and has remained a time-honoured art form.

In Pergamano, an artist uses specific tools to create designs in or on parchment paper and then adds various colours and materials to create greeting cards or other types of paper art.

Innovative uses of parchment are art murals, flowers, bookmarks, decorative boxes, picture frames and even lampshades.

Preciosa crystal is perfect for parchment craft artists, with the brilliance and exceptional quality of the crystal producing some startlingly original and creative designs.

When acquiring jewellery making supplies, designers are very specific about the cut, colour and brilliance of the stones they require in their designs, and the cutting-edge technology used to create the Preciosa line of crystals provides the jewellery designers with extremely high quality stones known for their consistency, precise cut and aesthetic properties.

Available in a large assortment of packaging sizes for both wholesale and retail purchases,
the Preciosa crystals are highly durable and treated with a varnish that protects the stones against dulling or damage throughout the manufacturing process.

Preciosa stones, which originate from the Czech Republic, are available in all traditional jewellery shapes as well as flat back stones designed for easy application to a wide range of papers, fabrics and other materials. Flat back stones can be affixed with glue, sewn on or hot fixed with a low melting point adhesive.

Crystal Avenue also offers bicone beads, buttons, crystal mesh, plastic and metal trimmings, accessories, tools and adhesives for all crafting and jewellery needs.
