Boulder, CO (PRWEB) January 29, 2013
AeroGrow International, Inc. (OTCQB: AERO), makers of the AeroGarden® line of indoor gardening products, announced its Calendar of Events for the celebration of National Indoor Gardening Month.
Indoor Gardening Month was launched 4 years ago to bring more awareness to new technologies that make it easier than ever for anyone to enjoy high output indoor gardens year ‘round.
“We celebrate Indoor Gardening Month in February because the cold and snow outside so perfectly illustrate the benefits of today’s indoor gardening technology,” said Mike Wolfe, CEO of AeroGrow. “When the days are short and dark, an indoor garden can bring the joy of green and growing plants – not to mention tasty fresh herbs, salad greens, chili peppers and vine ripened tomatoes, right into the home."
“Indoor gardens are much more than just a fun and engaging hobby,” continued Mr. Wolfe. “They help home cooks create tastier meals, with fresher produce and fewer trips to the store. And study after study shows that having plants in the home not only improves air quality but also significantly impacts people’s levels of happiness. Plants just make people happy, and the AeroGarden is the simplest way to grow a very wide variety of plants with guaranteed success.”
AeroGrow will be highlighting Indoor Gardening Month by sponsoring weekly events, educational interactive webcasts, along with contests and themes - starting with the Super Bowl of Dip contest announced earlier this week. These weekly themes are geared towards helping customers and gardeners better understand the nuances of indoor gardening, and to choose the best tools for their indoor garden.
With a new theme for every week of the month, look for events such as live webcasts, video content, web articles and community discussion boards to answer any and all questions.
