While Eye Street employees consistently deliver quality services for our customers, the annual awards recognize extra-ordinary contributions during the previous calendar year.
Employee of the Year
Richard Reinhardt of Leesburg, VA is the Eye Street Employee of the Year for 2012. He effectively manages a major project for FEMA, takes on mission-critical assignments that must be completed accurately, on time and under pressure and still always finds time to help coworkers. His skilled and disciplined approach to solving problems continues to inspire customers and coworkers to do the same. He is unquestionably a great ambassador for Eye Street.
Manager of the Year
Two managers were recognized for exception contributions this year.
Nechumah Getz of Silver Spring, MD is a valued contributor and a leader, but it is the leadership skills she demonstrated in spearheading the training for three different Web site launches, advocating for Eye Street’s skills and expertise, and creating innovations such as the Drupal Ambassador program at FEMA that this award recognizes. She has made training a key component of Eye Street’s service offerings.
Jimmie Butler of Strasburg, VA also received the Manager of the Year award for his leadership on the DisasterAssistance.gov project where he has impressed everyone with outstanding technical work and leadership abilities.
Customer Service Award
The 2012 Customer Service Award was presented to Donelly Tobiere of Chevy Chase, MD, an employee known for her consistently positive attitude and desire to make a difference for her clients. During super-storm Sandy when FEMA was inundated with emails from disaster survivors and staff went into the field to help survivors, Donelly stepped up to help with responses to the over 25,000 emails received in less than a month.
Technician/Engineer of the Year
Von Landfried of Arlington, VA is the Eye Street Technician/Engineer of the year. Von operates behind the scenes making sure Eye Street functions efficiently and all consultants have the tools and technology they need. Author of “Tech Trips from Von,” he is a trusted information resource and problem solver for the entire organization.
