Greenwich, CT (PRWEB) January 30, 2013
Brookfield Infrastructure Group Chief Financial Officer John Stinebaugh headlined the Ivy Family Office Network Greenwich, CT Forum with a discussion on “Global Infrastructure Investment.” The Forum was held on January 24th in Greenwich, CT.
According to Mr. Stinebaugh, “There is currently a large opportunity globally to invest in high-quality, core infrastructure businesses. Some of these opportunities arise from the need for capital to finance and rehabilitate government-owned infrastructure that has been neglected or identified for sale as a result of the uncertainty in Europe and other fiscal crises. In other cases, there are opportunities to turn around, add value to or provide better growth opportunities for infrastructure companies by leveraging an infrastructure manager’s expertise and access to capital.”
In many cases, private infrastructure companies and governments are not aware that these options are available to them. With more than 100 infrastructure professionals globally, Brookfield looks to create original theses and then educate potential business partners on these opportunities to help realize their financial goals or bring new projects to market. Overall we maintain a strong outlook toward global infrastructure opportunities.”
