Author Ernest Borchini pens a children’s book about learning new things, never giving up and realizing that help can come in unexpected ways in his colorful new children’s book “Three Stories about Jonathan, the Computer, and Little Kitty: Three Short Stories about a Boy and his Magic Cat” (published by Trafford Publishing).
Jonathan is a regular little boy who likes to play more than go to school, and he especially likes computers, though mostly for entertainment instead of learning. There are still a lot of things Jonathan has to learn about the versatile machines, and just when he becomes a bit overwhelmed by the different facets of computer navigation, a special friend comes to his rescue.
Little Kitty, Jonathan’s magical cat, helps the young man by simply meowing softly in his ear. The problems are solved, and when Jonathan’s grandfather has his own computer troubles, his grandson and Little Kitty team up to help him learn some new tricks.
An excerpt from “Three Stories about Jonathan, the Computer, and Little Kitty””
“Ms. B was standing right next to him now and said, ‘Jonathan, I want to know right now. What did you say?’ ‘I said … I said …’ after a brief pause and after he looked at his computer screen and saw that he had nicely and correctly built all ten of his fact family homes, he blurted out, ‘I said, I can do this!’ And Ms. B checked it. And they were, all right. Thanks to a little help from his furry friend, Jonathan was the first one done. ‘rrrrrrr’ … purred Little Kitty.”
