We are in the business of not just designing products but fulfilling the wants and needs of our customers. We stay in contact with them to keep them up-to-date with our progress as well as see how they are doing.

Recently, a customer had contacted us for a design innovation on an IPAD case. We proposed an outline of our process, time, and pricing for the work ahead of us. We called the next business day and they responded with, "I already found someone else for the project, I do appreciate your efforts." The question I had for them was "Why did you end up not choosing our proposal"?

They said they had found a local designer closer to home as well as costing less than we had proposed. 424 Design is a Chicago based company but has had clients from all around the world, from NewYork to Sydney. Knowing the "why" gave us an opportunity to help our client out even further and hone it on their needs.

Knowing that we had designed and manufactured IPAD cases before,we called them back saying, "Let me show you what we have done in the past and in addition, we'll sketch a few concepts based on your idea on the house". We wanted to show our capability and allow the customer to compare between the two.

To maintain ties, we kept close contact by phone and email. Learning that our client also underwent some surgery we wanted to make sure to ask how they were doing. All people need encouragement in other avenues besides just the business world. Thus, making the client feel comfortable it allowed him to see how we care.

After all was set and done, he thanked our company for the sketches and was really impressed with our work! We are now avidly working on the development for the new IPAD case and are excited to have a new client from the other side of the country.
