Twenty-two coaches were chosen nationally to accept this award for 2012. The NFHS has been recognizing coaches through an awards program since 1982 and honors coaches in the top ten girls’ and top ten boys’ sports, and this year Mr. Hancock was awarded for the boys’ category.

“We’re very proud of John joining the ranks of the greatest coaches in the country,” commented Tim Driscoll, President of AAE. “I’ve always felt that successful coaches like John, who buy and love our products, are our most valuable representatives in this industry. Nothing beats a fellow coach praising the quality of AAE equipment.”
