Mitchell Humphrey has responded to the needs of municipalities’ by offering transparency, improved response time, and effective communication between government and its citizens through instant text message alerts and notifications. Mitchell Humphrey’s newest addition to its FastTrackGov software improves the code enforcement and permitting work approval processes through text notifications from building inspectors to general contractors or property owners.
“Our FastTrackGov software has the capability to instantly communicate notices and alerts to all interested parties,” stated Kim Schaefer, President and Chief Operating Officer at Mitchell Humphrey.
The status of all related documents and records can be updated in one automated process. Various types of alerts regarding the permit application, contractor or owner status, and property characteristics may also be shared. Inspectors can send a text to give advance notice to individuals who may need to meet them at a work site for an inspection. Auto-notification can also be used to communicate deadlines, delays, or other specific messages. Contractors and property owners may request inspections via the Internet or mobile access (laptops, tablets, etc.).
