Innovative Program Provides Extraordinary Executive Education and Leadership Development Opportunities at Top Global Business Schools

The FRED Scholars program is central to our mission as a leadership incubator.

FRED Inc. the innovative nonprofit leadership organization dedicated to helping elevate the quality of leadership in the world, has announced the 2013 FRED Scholars(SM) program featuring a roster of seven scholarships available for nonprofit/NGO leaders to attend leading university executive education and leadership development programs.

“The FRED Scholars program is central to our mission as a leadership incubator,” said Jim Bolt, CEO of FRED Inc. “We are honored to have so many highly esteemed schools sign on to this unique program. It’s a testament to them and to how important ongoing learning and development is for all leaders, including those at nonprofits and NGO’s,” added Bolt.

The FRED Scholars program provides exclusive scholarships to enable qualified honorees, who otherwise lack funding, to attend world-class executive education programs alongside global executives and high potential managers from companies across the business spectrum. “FRED Scholars provides the highest quality leadership development opportunities for these deserving leaders,” said Bolt.

The 2013 FRED Scholars roster of programs includes:

China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Shanghai, China
Program Name: Doing Business in China
Program Dates: April 24-27, 2013 and November 6-9, 2013
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fee, Lodging, Meals, Tuition.

Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Pretoria, Johannesburg, South Africa
Program Name: Finance for Non-Financial Managers
Program Dates: February 25-28, 2013
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fees, Lodging, Meals

MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
Program Name: MIT Sloan Executive Certificate
Program Dates: Programs are held in Cambridge, Massachusetts throughout the year
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fee for four 2-day programs; All four programs must be selected by June 30, 2013 (enrollment deadline) and attended by June 30, 2014 (completion deadline)

Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
Program Name: Management of Managers
Program Dates: November 16-23, 2013
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fee, Meals

Sauder School of Business – Executive Education, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada
Program Name: Meeting the Leadership Challenge
Program Dates: May 26-31, 2013
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fee, Lodging, Meals

Stern School of Business, New York University, New York, New York USA
Program Name: Leadership Training for High Potentials
Program Dates: March 14-15, 2013
Scholarship Includes: Tuition and breakfast, lunch, snacks and one reception. Lodging is not included.

Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, Hanover, New Hampshire, USA
Program Name: Leadership & Strategic Impact
Program Dates: May 5-10, 2013
Scholarship Includes: Registration Fee, Lodging, Meals
