The park's setting, with it's awe-inspiring surroundings, seems to naturally inspire romance"
Banff National Park, Alberta (PRWEB) January 31, 2013
The beautiful and majestic scenery of Banff National Park and its crown jewel, Lake Louise, will provide the setting for the upcoming 6th episode of the popular reality series The Bachelor when it airs on a special day and time, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.
This season on The Bachelor, Sean Lowe, 29, the successful Dallas businessman and entrepreneur who charmed fans while wooing Bachelorette Emily Maynard, meets 26 potential soul mates and gets another shot at love as the Bachelor. Sean was blindsided in the Caribbean island of Curacao when Emily rejected him, and viewers saw the devastated Sean wrestling to make sense of her decision. Thankfully, Sean did not give up on his dream of love and he now knows with certainty the time is right for him to risk it all again to try to find the right woman.
Whilst filming in Banff National Park, Sean and his accompanying bachelorettes participated in a series of outdoor adventures including rock climbing on Tunnel Mountain, canoeing on the turquoise waters of Lake Louise, and a private excursion on the colossal and spectacular Columbia Icefield.
Anticipation over what will unfold during the show’s ongoing drama builds as Lowe, and the bachelorettes vying for his amorous attention, head north of the U.S. border to the mountainous region well-known as one of Canada’s favourite honeymoon and wedding destinations.
“It was a fun-filled privilege to have the cast and crew of The Bachelor come to Banff National Park and showcase the destination on such a grand scale,” said Julie Canning, President and CEO of Banff Lake Louise Tourism. “The park’s setting, with its awe-inspiring surroundings, seems to naturally inspire romance so it will be exciting to see how Sean’s romantic escapades in beautiful Banff and Lake Louise unravel.”
In addition to his mountainous adventures in Canada’s oldest national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lowe enjoyed some one-on-one and group dates in an exclusive ice castle on the shores of Lake Louise, fireside at the rustic and romantic Deer Lodge and in an authentic tipi beside Waterfowl Lake. The ever-anticipated rose ceremony took place in the historic and exquisite Victoria Ballroom of The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise where the cast and crew were luxuriously accommodated throughout their visit.
Support for the show was generously provided by The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Yamnuska Mountain Adventures, Brewster Adventures, Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts, Brewster Travel Canada, Travel Alberta and Parks Canada.
Although the Banff National Park episode will air at on a special day and time, Tuesday (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT), the 17th season of The Bachelor, from Warner Horizon Television, regularly airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
