Cheap Concert Tickets announces that the British American rock band Fleetwood Mac has added 13 more dates to their scheduled concert tour this 2013, which is good news for their fans who have been with them since the 70s.

The additional 13 new dates includes second shows in Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles. The band will visit cities which weren't included in the first leg of their tour: Cleveland, Charlotte, Des Moines, Portland, Wantagh (Long Island), Spokane, Sacramento, Albany and Montreal.

The band was originally composed of Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Green is the founder, songwriter and guitarist, McVie is the bassist and Fleetwood is the drummer. The group was initially a blues band and their first self-titled album was released in 1968 - this enabled them to land at number 4 In the UK Charts.

A new guitarist, Danny Kirwan was added to the group in the same year. When they entered the States in 1969, they drifted from blues to rock and roll and released their first rock album “Then Play On” also in the same year. The following year, the founder of the band, Green had to leave the band due to his deteriorating health.

Bob Welch replaced him and Christine, McVie’s wife joined the group as keyboardist. In 1974 Lindsey Buckingham replaced Welch as guitarist and Stevie Nicks became the Vocalist.

When Nicks and Buckingham joined the band, they were able to release another album that sold over a million and made it number 1 on the USA charts. This was indeed a successful comeback of the band. In 1977, Fleetwood Mac released another album, “Rumors” which allowed them to take a Grammy Award for Best Album of the Year. The album was indeed a success; it sold more than 40 million copies all over the word and 19 million copies in the United States alone.

For more than four decades, the group has been considered an icon in the music industry. The group may have continuously changed members but they have always been able to leave a mark and keep the audience rocking. The group has surpassed changes and differences and now they are still and again composed of Fleetwood, McVie, Buckingham and Nicks.

After all the ups and downs, starts and stops, Fleetwood Mac is still here to bring good old rock and roll music, so watch out for their concert during 2013 and make your world rock.
