Imaginarium Web Content Manager, Guillermo Aragón, said, "Imaginarium has 20 years’ experience in the world of children. We know how children play, and how to help parents to educate and amuse them. We are delighted to reach this agreement with Curious Hat to bring that philosophy into the digital world. Curious Hat shares a number of core values with us, as they are committed to quality content that is different and which provides a bonus to what already exists in the market, as we have done with our toys, and now on our content platform, PaquitoLand. Curious Hat is the perfect partner for us to grow in the world of applications.”
The agreement with Curious Hat is part of a new content strategy for Imaginarium, and will launch in Spain and Turkey initially with a series of co-marketing events. The PaquitoLand initiative launched in Spain and Germany in September 2012, and will shortly also become available in Italy, Portugal and a range of other countries, tying in with celebrations to mark Imaginarium’s 20th birthday.
“We are delighted to partner with Imaginarium,” said Curious Hat CEO, Luca Prasso. “We share a similar approach and mission, in that we are both working to provide children with ways to stimulate their creativity and imagination. Together we plan to develop a new generation of ‘science’ toys, which make the best use of new technologies and real-life experiments. The PaquitoLand program is an amazing initiative, and we look forward to working with Imaginarium to offer unique content and digital experiences to children and parents worldwide.”
Curious Hat launched their first app, Color Vacuum, in May 2012, followed swiftly by PHLIP, Eye Paint Halloween and Eye Paint Animals. Eye Paint MyDIARY is the latest addition to the Eye Paint app series, available from this week, with Eye Paint Monsters also scheduled for release this month.

Promoting self-exploration, Curious Hat encourages the use of mobile devices as tools for child/parent interaction through the introduction of the inventive and fantastical world of their fictitious muse, Professor Vapori, as well as through a range of other exciting applications.
Curious Hat was co-founded by Luca Prasso and Erwan Maigret, both parents and seasoned professionals from the feature film production and software development industries. The Curious Hat team is also composed of an international network of experts in graphic design and visual arts led by Creative Director, Nadia Andreini. Together, they are collaborating on projects that combine visually compelling design with truly innovative uses of mobile technologies.
Curious Hat apps result from an intensive research and development program with education professionals, parents and children.
