Acuity helps automate FCC filing requirements with detailed outage and affected services data.

NetBoss Technologies, Inc., an established supplier of network management and service assurance solutions to network operators around the world, announced today that its newest Acuity enhancement automates Federal Communications Commission (FCC) reporting and filing requirements. Data collected helps providers comply with service quality standards and consumer protection rules, as well as certify their ability to function in emergency situations.

The enhancement to Acuity is available as a Proof of Concept today and will be available for demonstration at the NTCA show in Orlando, Florida, February 3-6. Data is presented as an FCC Reports table using a familiar user interface, as well as export and print options to seamlessly integrate into FCC filing reports.

Acuity is a service management tool that detects network and service issues that are affecting end customers with “anywhere, anytime” access to information on the network and associated services.

“Helping our customers comply with government regulations by automating data collection for compliance to FCC requirements saves administrative time, resulting in another cost savings achieved with Acuity,” said Jim Odom, President and CEO of NetBoss Technologies. “We continue to listen to our customers and provide solutions to their day to day operational needs. That’s our goal and that’s how Acuity came about in the first place.”
