Liaison International, Inc., a leading provider of integrated software, services and data offerings for professional and educational associations, universities, and accrediting agencies, today announced that Michael Behringer was appointed as Chief Executive Officer & President. Mr. Behringer, who had been Chief Operating Officer, will lead the expansion of the company’s product offerings, including its flagship Centralized Application Services (“CAS”), which it pioneered more than 20 years ago, as well as its diversification into other related offerings and adjacent markets. Liaison’s founder, George Haddad, will become Chairman, where he will focus on strategic market opportunities, product innovation, international expansion, and M&A activities.

Mr. Behringer’s promotion is a key component in Liaison’s plan to expand management resources, invest in new technologies and services and extend its client offerings. Mr. Haddad said, “Michael is a superb choice to take on this role. Since joining us in July, he has immersed himself in the organization, its products and technology, as well as the staff and clients that have made Liaison successful over the last 22 years. I look forward to working with Michael as Liaison continues to write its success story of innovation.”

Mr. Behringer brings more than 20 years of experience in the information and service industries. Most recently, he was Executive in Residence at the private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Mr. Behringer’s career has included senior management roles at media and information companies including Canon Communications, Primedia Inc. and Discovery Communications.

Mr. Behringer is a director of the Gordian Group, a provider of construction cost data, technology, software and services. He is also an Executive Director of the Columbia College Alumni Association and Co-Chairman of its Annual Fund. Mr. Behringer earned his A.B. degree from Columbia College and his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law.
