The 14 days of the Ski World Championships will see 650 athletes from 70 nations compete for 33 medals in eleven disciplines. There will be over 3000 media representatives who will be reporting from around the world on the events as they happen. The ski resort is at the altitude of 745m (2,444ft); 173kms of Piste in Dachstein Tauren (111kms connecting to Schladming), and the longest run is 7.7kms which can be accessed through one of their 81 lifts.
