(PRWEB UK) 31 January 2013
The UK’s largest group of independently owned hotels, Best Western, is offering social media mad Brits the chance to snap up free weekend breaks every half an hour for 12 hours via Facebook.
On Friday 1 February from 8am until 8pm the Best Western hotel group will offer up the breaks at different hotels in Great Britain as part of its January Cheer Up campaign. The breaks will include dinner, bed and breakfast for two people for two nights.
The questions will be posted through an app on the Facebook page giving fans 15 minutes to answer. The topics will range from questions specific to Best Western hotels, about the Cheer Up campaign and even general knowledge. All those with correct answers will be entered into the prize draw for that particular half hours weekend break giveaway and then the winners will be revealed on Facebook.
The Cheer Up campaign is a pledge by Best Western to give away 2,500 gifts, ranging from hair styling products, toiletries, bottles of wine, shopping vouchers, bouquets of flowers and free weekends away at their hotels, to put the smile back on the face of Brits throughout January. The ‘cheer-ups’ are not limited to guests booking a weekend away either, customers ringing up for any reason are in with a chance of winning.
Best Western is a group of over 270 independently owned hotels throughout the UK. Entrants could win breaks at stunning castles, country house hotels, chic city centre boutiques or traditional seaside escapes. The break on offer will change every half hour so fans will need to respond quickly if they are interested in winning that holiday.
Tim Wade, director of marketing for Best Western, said: “The 12 hour give away is a great way of giving back to our fans and customers and the perfect end to a very successful Cheer up campaign. We have some amazing hotels in our portfolio and we want to showcase them by hopefully encouraging people to pick places they might not normally choose.”
