During the students’ visit to the Discovery Center, they receive a unique “life situation” with job, income, education and family scenarios. Based on their circumstances the students work through a series of 18 individual and family financial decisions, including housing, transportation, food, utilities, healthcare, investments, philanthropy, and banking.

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and City of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed officially proclaim October 7-13, 2013 the 12th annual Financial Planning Week.
