Kemamide® W-40 Veg is a synthetic wax with the common chemical name, N,N'-Ethylenebisstearamide (EBS). Ethylenebisamides are used as synthetic waxes, as process lubricants for PVC and styrenics, as mold-release agents for phenolics, as anti-block agents for polyolefins, and in asphalts, paper coating, potting and dipping compounds for electrical components. Generally, the most important application for EBS is as internal and external lubricants in the processing of thermoplastic resins.
