Ronald L. Samuels, Chairman and CEO of Avenue Bank, today announced four new associates who have joined the Avenue Bank team.

Kelly Weathers serves as a new Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator, for Avenue Bank’s Mortgage Team. Kelly brings almost twenty years of banking and mortgage lending experience to Avenue Bank. Having spent the last 14 years at SunTrust, Kelly has consistently been recognized by the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association for his outstanding loan production.

Ellen May has joined the Avenue Bank Team as a Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator and Senior Relationship Manager in the Music and Entertainment Private Banking division. She has more than 25 years of experience in mortgage banking and has been recognized by the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association as a top producer for several years. Ellen most recently worked for SunTrust Bank where she has been originating for the past 14 years in the Music and Sports/Entertainment Division. Ellen is an active member of the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association, CMA, ACM, and recording academy.

Craig Gardella joined Avenue Bank’s Commercial Division in August of 2013, with over 30 years of experience as a corporate, commercial and healthcare lender and executive. Craig was also the Senior Vice President, Finance & Treasurer of a nationwide healthcare company. He joins the bank’s commercial team as the Senior Vice President, Director of Commercial and Industrial Banking. Craig is a graduate of Villanova University with a degree in Finance. He is a member of the Nashville HealthCare Council, serves as Treasurer for the Tennessee Kidney Foundation, and also serves on the Board of Directors for both the Tennessee Kidney Foundation and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of the MidSouth.

Christy Caudill joined Avenue Bank as Senior Vice President and manager of Treasury Management/Systems Administration with over 20 years of experience in banking. Most recently, Christy was with CapStar Bank, where she managed the Correspondent Banking and Treasury Management business for the Operations group. Christy is a volunteer with Junior Achievement.
