Participants will learn how to comply with human resource requirements under federal grants in the latest webinar from Federal Fund Management Advisor.

In the Oct. 23 Federal Fund Management Advisor webinar, “Managing Human Resources Under Federal Grants,” federal grants expert Bob Lloyd will offer clear guidance about what federal grant rules apply to human resource management and how an organization should respond with policies, procedures and practices.

In many federal grant program budgets, the line items related to the people who will perform the work make up the bulk of expenditures. Consequently, there are a host of federal policies related to how those grant-funded people are hired, relocated, compensated, trained and even let go.

The Oct. 23 webinar will cover these topics:

  • Employee compensation (Salaries, wages and fringe benefits, and documentation of time and effort)
  • Employee health, morale and welfare
  • Housing and personal living expenses
  • Memberships and professional activities
  • Recruitment
  • Relocation
  • Training
  • Travel
  • Severance
  • Engagement of independent contractors
