A' Design Award and Competitions are proud to tell that the work Bamboo Credenza by Pamela Butz, Jeffrey Klug, Chris Rice and Pierre Tresfort has been awarded with the famous Silver A' Design Award in Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design Category.
Regarding Bamboo Credenza
Making the Bamboo Credenza's Gestalt memorable through both materials used and formal contrasts, the credenza is able to absorb the typical haphazard collection of disparate electronic components surrounding home entertainment while remaining domestic and not overtly 'electronic'. The 'box', which merely sits on its tripod, is made of laminated bamboo plywood, an easily replenishable material, the details take the opportunity to amplify the intrinsic beauty of the lamination.
