Sally Salon Services celebrated the official opening of its new, flagship Oxford Street store on Thursday, 12 September with celebrity hairdresser Errol Douglas MBE and Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan cutting the ribbon in front of hundreds of customers.
Since opening in August, the store has already had over 5,000 customers through its doors who have enjoyed the wide range of hair, electrical and beauty products on offer, including a number of lines that weren’t previously available in SBH’s Shaftesbury Avenue store.
“We’re very excited about moving our central London flagship store to New Oxford Street. Michelle and Errol were a massive hit with our customers and helped make our launch extra special,” commented Richard Hull, Managing Director of Sally Salon Services UK & Ireland said, “Whilst we loved Shaftesbury Avenue, we needed a bigger home so that we could give the area’s hair and beauty professionals more of what they need. We look forward to welcoming our existing and new customers to our new store and to continuing to provide them with exceptional products and services.”
The store is at 78 New Oxford Street London, WC1A 1HB (opposite the Tony & Guy Academy), close to Tottenham Court Road tube station and just eight minutes walk from Sally Salon Services’ previous store at 81 Shaftesbury Avenue.
The new premises has two floors – one for retail and one exclusively for professional customers – as well as a mezzanine dedicated solely to electrical appliances.
The flagship store carries extended ranges, including products from Tigi, Serie Expert, Hair Do Hair Extensions, Hi-Brow, Marvelash, and a full range of hair colour essentials. Popular male grooming brands including Real Shave, Lock, Stock & Barrel, Pashana, Woody’s and Wahl Styling, and all the most popular beauty brands are also available.
