Home Theater Systems so easy even Grandma can work the remote!
Charlotte, North Carolina (PRWEB) October 10, 2013
Now open in Midtown Charlotte at 601 South Kings Drive, next to Mama Ricotta’s, Tecknos Entertaining Solutions. Owners, David Stollmack and Mathieu Billarant, opened the doors to their new Home Theater Installation Company three months ago. Their business is new, but they are experts in the field of audio video solutions. David Stollmack was the previous owner and manager of Audio Video Systems, the premier Charlotte-based home theater company that he started in 1973. Mathieu Billarant, an equal partner in the business, has worked previously for HH Gregg and Tweeter Home Entertainment. Together, they create a team full or experience, expertise, and personal attention for their customers.
Home Theaters and Media Rooms are becoming a great addition to homes in Charlotte. Better Homes and Garden discusses design trends in homes. They say, “Whether in a living room, great room, or basement, a well-appointed gathering place with comfortable furniture, technology, and entertainment is a must-have in today's homes.” This is where companies, like Tecknos, come in handy. Networking all the components of your entertainment system is best left up to the experts.
Big Box stores, like Best Buy or Amazon, lack an element of customer service. Tecknos sets itself apart from these type of retail stores through their 5 year technology support guarantee that comes with every installation and their unique ability to customize their products for your home. “Don’t think of us as your typical retail store,” says Billarant, “Our customers can trust that they will be dealing directly with us every time they call or come by.”
Local is at the heart of what Tecknos is all about. Their showroom, located on Kings Drive in Charlotte, displays what they can do with beautiful flat screen- TVs, surround sound, and integrated receivers. Tecknos doesn’t have a large warehouse that offers volumes of products. Instead, they keep their overhead down and pass the savings on to their customers. They research the best of the best in televisions, speakers, receivers, and remotes to inform their customers of their options. Currently, Tecknos uses Definitive Technology Speakers, Marantz Recievers, and URC remotes. Many of their customers may already have a flat screen TV, like a LG, Sony, or Samsung, and that’s fine with Tecknos. They can work with what you already have and integrate the systems together. “Our goal isn’t to sell you stuff, but to simplify your viewing experience,” says Stollmack. That’s why they do free house calls. In home consultations allow them to better understand your needs.
Simplicity is essential to home theater systems. “So many people ... say, ‘I’ve got five remotes at home and I can’t do this or that,’ ” says Billarant, “And that’s why we prefer simple solutions with one remote that anyone in your house can operate.” If you can’t figure out how to stream music or watch a DVD with your current system, Tecknos can help. Stollmack and Billarant both enjoy using Apple products, like Apple TV, to stream music, photos, and videos. “We are huge believers in what Apple created over the past several years. From wireless networks, the integration of devices, the simplicity by which you can share, watch and interact with picture or videos wirelessly on your TV.”
Tecknos is locally owned and operated in Charlotte, NC. They have been highlighted in the Charlotte Observer as a small business to watch. It will be exciting to see what the future holds.
