Ivy Planning Group (Ivy) is proud to announce that it received a prestigious “Learning in Practice” Award from Chief Learning Officer magazine. Ivy was awarded the Gold Excellence in E-Learning Award for its accomplishments in rolling out an innovative and effective leadership, diversity and inclusion e-learning program. The 2013 Learning in Practice Awards were announced at special awards ceremonies during the Fall 2013 Chief Learning Officer Symposium in Palm Springs, California.
“Being recognized for our eLearning solutions is a huge honor for Ivy,” stated Janet Crenshaw Smith, President of Ivy Planning Group. “This award validates my team’s hard work to leverage technology so that more people can experience truly world-class leadership, diversity and inclusion programs. Many Fortune 500 companies and agencies have experienced Ivy’s smart and impactful approach to these topics. Now everyone can benefit from our tools. That excites us!”
"The Learning in Practice Awards were established to recognize transformational and visionary leaders in enterprise education," said Norm Kamikow, president and editor-in-chief of the Human Capital Media Group, which publishes Chief Learning Officer magazine.
Ivy was honored for delivering an e-learning program that blended a self- assessment of each individual’s MicroTriggers – the subtle behaviors of inclusion, Web-based training that included video with highly interactive learning exercises, and takeaway tools that delivered tangible results.
Now in its tenth year, the Learning in Practice awards consist of nominations being reviewed by industry experts and executives from some of the world’s largest and most respected companies to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners for each category. Provider awards recognize qualified service providers, vendors and consultants for their work on behalf of a client organization.
