Brosix is adding a new chat room feature to its award winning enterprise instant messenger by the end of 2013.

The use of chat rooms is nothing new for Brosix users, however, this feature is going to take the experience to the next level.

Brosix is set to release one of its newest features, persistent chat rooms, to users by the end of the year.

This feature will add to an already long list that allows users to more effectively and efficiently communicate within a corporate environment.

The premise for persistent chat rooms has been developed, and the Brosix team is currently working on integration. This feature will include the following:

  •     Every user has the ability to create a chat room and invite others
  •     The chat room is constant, meaning that users can go offline and when they get back the chat room will still be available
  •     Every user has the ability to leave the chat room at any time
  •     Users can be offline and if someone sends a message in the chat room, that user will receive it when they come online

In addition to these features, companies will have the ability to control the chat rooms in which employees participate.
