We have great content on tap just for boomers, and even if you never take advantage of all the other capabilities that Boomeon will give you, like creating your own content to share, that great content will still be there for you.
Bonita Springs, FL (PRWEB) October 17, 2013
Florida-based startup Boomeon is announcing the first round of experts committed to providing monthly columns and other content for the Baby Boomer generation when the site formally launches in January 2014.
Boomeon is designed to be an online community for baby boomers that gives users tools to easily create and share their own content in interest groups as well as read and see content written explicitly for them by experts in their respective fields.
Among contributors currently committed to write or provide other content for the Boomeon audience of boomers are Cold Crossover author, real estate columnist and radio show host Tom Kelly; Terri Benincasa and the Boomer Nation! radio show; Confessions of a Middle-Aged Babe Magnet author Chad Stone; Poterack Capital Advisory founder and wealth management expert Ryan Poterack; Career Choices with Laura and encore career expert Laura Schlafly; Hot Stuff: The Ultimate Guide to Style for Women of a Certain Age author and Glamour Basics fashion designer Penelope Whitely; The Healing of a Sensitive author Maryanne Sea; and many others.
According to Boomeon President and founder William Murphy, putting together high-quality content from experts alongside the capability for users to create their own interest groups and publish their own content is key to making Boomeon a destination site for baby boomers of all description. “We have great content on tap just for boomers, and even if you never take advantage of all the other capabilities that Boomeon will give you, like creating your own content to share, that great content will still be there for you,” said Murphy. “But if you’d rather write or interact than read, you can do that, too – Boomeon is still the place for you.”
“Of course, we’re nowhere near done adding and announcing contributors. So you’re ultimately not going to have any choice but to want to read, see and listen to our content,” finished Murphy with a laugh. “This is your generation, and this is your place to be.”
