The Samburu Project Splash Bash: Celebrating 8 Years and Sustainable Water for Over 52,000 People

“I am inspired by the Samburu villagers and Kristen Kosinski's commitment to improving their living conditions. I am honored to be a part of this event,” says Warner Bros. and Buskin Records recording artist, Andra Day.

The Samburu Project, a Santa Monica based non-profit that drills freshwater wells in Africa, is working to better the lives of thousands! Every day 4,500 children die worldwide due to the lack of access to clean, safe drinking water. Through its drilling initiatives, The Samburu Project provides a simple solution to this extraordinary problem.

“The Samburu Project is overjoyed to be celebrating 8 years of sustainable water for over 52,000 people. We are grateful to have such extraordinary impact on other people’s lives. There is a dire need for water in the world; our supporters will enable us to bring clean water to exponentially more people,” says Kristen Kosinski, Founder of The Samburu Project.

At the Splash Bash event, Warner Bros. and Buskin Records recording artist, Andra Day will perform an intimate acoustic set with her signature soulful sound. “I am inspired by the Samburu villagers and Kristen Kosinski's commitment to improving their living conditions. I am honored to be a part of this event,” says Andra Day.

The Samburu Project will show The Face of Water, an exhibition of photography highlighting their work to bring clean, safe drinking water to people in Northern Kenya while Qure Water, Martella Wines, American Harvest Organic Spirit and Rock Saké pour libations for our guests. This year’s event includes Culinary Creations by Kitchen12000, musical entertainment, a live auction, and a Samburu native speaker. The event will be attended by a diverse group of local supporters as well as newcomers to the organization with celebrities, entrepreneurs and professionals from a wide array of industries.
