A new range of LED lighting that has been specifically designed for use in car parks has been introduced by BoscoLighting Pty Ltd, in an effort to increase energy savings and reduce carbon emissions. The new LED tubes include an innovative infrared sensor integrated into the product. This allows users to increase energy savings even further, using the latest technology to improve their lighting system.
The product can be used in the home, but has been produced with car park lighting in mind. The 18W LED tubes will hopefully replace conventional 36W fluorescent tubes commonly used, helping to achieve significant savings on energy use and associated costs. The lights deliver 1800 lumens of Cool White light and a 120 degree viewing angle. Fluorescent tubes operate at 2200 lumens and a 360 degree viewing angle.
The integrated infrared sensor means that the LED tubes will maintain only half brightness when there is no activity in its operating space. The sensor will recognise when an area is in use and immediately return to full brightness. This is especially useful for car parks, as they can save energy when the park is not in use by people or vehicles.
LED Lighting, a leading LED company specialising in commercial and home LED lighting, have responded to the new intelligent lighting from BoscoLighting. A spokesperson for the company said:
“LED lighting offers so many benefits, and this new product has the potential to help lighting in car parks become much more energy efficient and cost effective. With the addition of the intelligent motion sensor, this is a smart way to utilise the superior technology of LEDs along with infrared for practical commercial use.”
