Revgear Sports, a leading combat sports gear manufacturer who participates in the UFC sponsorship program, is proud to announce their sponsorship of eight athletes competing on the October 19th UFC 166 Pay-Per-View: Velasquez Vs. Dos Santos III in Houston, TX.
Revgear has successfully been manufacturing gear for various Martial Arts disciplines for over 17 years and continues to grow along with the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. UFC 166 is poised to be one of the biggest events of the year when Heavyweight Cain Velasquez puts his title on the line against Junior Dos Santos in the third fight between these great Heavyweight fighters.
On the televised portion of the UFC 166 event Revgear has chosen to sponsor legendary WMMA fighter Sarah Kaufman who will be wearing the Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo shorts in her Octagon debut against Jessica Eye. Also on the televised undercard portion UFC veteran George Sotiropoulos will look to defeat KJ Noons competing in the Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo shorts and making his way to the Octagon in the Revgear Repeat Panel Hat. Former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion and 3-Time Pancrase Middleweight Champion Nate Marquardt will square off in his Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo shorts against fellow Middleweight and former Olympic Judoka Hector Lombard.
The 5-bout Pay Per View Main Card includes rising Flyweight star Darrell Montague who makes his UFC Debut against #2 ranked John Dodson and will be competing in the Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo shorts. Darrell will also be supporting the Revgear brand with the Revgear Core T-Shirt for his walkout and the Revgear Repeat Panel Hat. Revgear athlete Shawn Jordan also competes on the Main Card when he takes on Gabriel Gonzaga in a Heavyweight showdown.
Additional Revgear fighters slated to compete at the event are former actor and Ultimate Fighter 15 cast mate Mike Rio who will wear Revgear Spartan Pro II Fight Shorts against Tony Ferguson on the Facebook undercard while Ultimate Fighter competitor and three time NAIA Champion Dustin Pague will also be representing the Revgear brand competing in Revgear Spartan Pro II Fight Shorts against Japan’s Kyoji Horiguchi. Sponsored fighters on the undercard also include Ultimate Fighter competitor Adlan Amagov.
