A' Design Award and Competitions are encouraged to announce that the design Buenos Aires Museum by Paula Werneck, Marina Cuiabano and Felipe Deslandes has been awarded with the famous Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design Category.
Regarding Buenos Aires
The main concept of this project is to turn the museum and its surroundings so that allowing visitors to experience a full interaction with the cultural environment of Puerto Madeiro. Located next to the “Puente de la Mujer”, one of the main touristic spots of Buenos Aires. The architectural oriented museum tour is done through ramps that assure many different experiences until the end of a journey. Ergo, this building not only capable of displaying contemporary art but also welcomes cultural lifestyle and provides unique touristic place at Puerto Madero.

The Silver A' Design Award
The Silver A' Design Award is a prestigious award given to top 5% percentile designs that has accomplished an exemplary level of excellence in design. The designs are judged by a panel of three different jury which is composed of Academic, Professional and Focus Group Members. The designs are evaluated with score normalization to remove any biases and are voted on aspects such as functionality, ergonomics, engineering, presentation, innovation, usability, fun details, technology, and any other specific points that could be considered, each of these points are further weighted for different jury groups.
