ALEXANDRIA, Va. (PRWEB) October 23, 2013
The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) Career Institute, the nation’s premier pool, spa, and hot tub education provider, will spotlight the APSP Pool & Spa Construction Course (PSCC) as part of its education and certification curriculum at the 2013 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, being held Nov. 9-14 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
Builders, designers and contractors can attend the PSCC, a course for those who want to build quality into their installations and want to enhance their technical expertise. The PSCC is a three-day program that walks attendees through the APSP Builder’s Manual in an effort to prepare them for the APSP CBP Certified Building Professional® exam. The course provides professionals with the knowledge and expertise to build a business system that will result in more – and better – installations.
"APSP's newly developed Pool & Spa Construction Course is exceeding expectations, with a record number of industry professionals registered to attend the course at this year's International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo," said Michael Reed, APSP Director of Professional Development.
The PSCC will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Upon completion, attendees will receive the full 24.0 technical credit hours of APSP continuing education hours required to take the CBP exam (note: attendees must also have five years of industry experience to quality for the exam). Rick English, CBP, owner of English Consulting, will serve as instructor.
