Premium Bicycle Brand Budnitz Bicycles Releases Innovative Model No.2M Mountain Bike
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- Premium luxury bicycle brand Budnitz Bicycles released its first mountain bicycle, the Budnitz Model No.2M. Built out of aerospace-grade titanium, and weighing in at just 18-pounds, this innovative mountain bike features a cantilever frame that absorbs trail shock without the need of shock absorbers, a belt drive instead of a chain, and mid-sized 650B wheels.
“Fast, simple, and ridiculously fun to ride, this bicycle is a lightening fast dirt and gravel assault vehicle that flies over ruts, roots, and rocks as if it had a shock absorber built into it — without the power loss and extra weight of actually having one,” says company founder Paul Budnitz.
Produced by hand in small runs and for sale for the first time today, Budnitz Model No.2M highly engineered titanium cantilever frame provides lateral stiffness for speed and tight handling, while organically absorbing trail shock.
It also features a silent and oil-free belt drive that won’t get clogged with dirt, and 650B (27.5-inch) mid-sized wheels that power over bumps like a 29’er, without sacrificing the nimble cornering of a smaller wheeled 26‘er MTB.
“The way this bicycle handles make this the ultimate mountain bike,” says head builder Hunt Manley, “fast, nimble, and ridiculously lightweight, with an incredibly smooth ride and stunning elegance.”
Budnitz No.3 is available in handmade titanium or jet-black cro-moly steel, and features handmade titanium parts and world-class components adapted from top-end racing bikes.
Base price is $4600.
“Creating gorgeous everyday objects that function perfectly transforms the world. A bicycle should be as beautiful as a vintage car,” says Budnitz.
The new expanded Budnitz Bicycles web store features high-end bicycles, handmade parts, apparel, and signed bicycle artwork by world-renowned illustrators and artists.
