Adam M. Foslid, a Shareholder with the Litigation Practice Group of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been appointed as a Trustee of the Miami Music Association, the Board of Trustees for Cleveland Orchestra Miami. In this role, Foslid will work to build support for Cleveland Orchestra Miami to help ensure that the Miami Music Association succeeds in creating a culture of passionate, dedicated concert-going among the broadest constituency in Miami.
"Adam has already demonstrated a tremendous love of the arts and a creative flair for approaching the board role of advocacy and support for Cleveland Orchestra Miami,” said Cleveland Orchestra Miami's Managing Director, Hollis Hudak. "We are thrilled that Adam has agreed to join the MMA board, as he brings a strong and diverse background of board service in the not-for-profit sector. We look forward to working with him.”
The orchestra is co-presented by MMA and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. On January 24, 2014, the orchestra will begin its eighth season of programs in Miami.
“I am excited to join the MMA board and look forward to working closely with my fellow trustees to carry on our founders’ vision of delivering to this community world-class symphonic music and valuable public services that have already reached more than 25,000 local children and families,” Foslid said.
