Frederick, MD (PRWEB) November 09, 2013

Frederick Comforcare Senior Services is a private provider of non-medical home care assistance to people of all ages. Their mission is to improve the quality of life and level of independence for every client and family receiving their services. Joe Benn bought into the franchise in July of 2012 and now owns and is Director of Operations of Frederick Comforcare Senior Services. He is eager and excited to be part of Frederick’s growing community. They are the first of their organization to be in this part of Maryland, with this comes the responsibility to strive even more to represent themselves to clients and to make partnerships within the community. They became fully licensed on October 22, 2012, and now a little over a year later they celebrate by appreciating what they have achieved thus far in our community. Comforcare has become active members of the Frederick Chamber of Commerce and the Frederick Bar Association. They also received the Frederick County Business Appreciation 2013 Certificate, signed by Blaine R. Young, President Board of County Commissioners, and Helen Propheter, Manager Business Development and Retention.

Their first priority is the client and their comfort. Comforcare has that welcoming family quality about them. So much so when they first have an interested possible client they arrange what they call a Sofa visit free of charge. A sit down with the client and their loved ones to reassure them that Comforcare is there for them in any way possible and to also to determine what kind of care the client may need individually.

The Sofa visit includes a free fall prevention assessment which is conducted by a nurse while at the residence. Once a client is gained a special individual care plan is developed for them and followed by the caregiver matched with the client. Comforcare not only accommodates meal preparation, but does medication reminders, safety supervision, transportation and errands, general domestic services and light housekeeping, and personal well-being and companionship, as well as family respite. Currently they are staffed with caregivers that are certified in both C.N.A, and CPR, furthermore which provide three categories of care: personal care, companionship, and family respite. Plus they have two certified nurses on staff. The personal care aides, certified nursing assistants, companions, are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Frederick Comforcare is very dedicated, as their homepage says, “Comforcare is capable of offering assistance in any setting from private residence, assisted living, to an independent- living community.”
