ZOFT Gum Company announced this week they have taken major steps to expand production as the holiday season approaches. The company is bringing in more equipment and have also inked partnerships with other manufacturers across the Unites States, Canada, Mexico, Denmark and Turkey.
"Over the past couple of years, due to contractual obligations and capacity limits, we were largely unable to take on many new clients, especially around the holidays when machines are almost always at capacity for the holiday season. These partnerships increase our ability to handle new clients both domestically and internationally for chewing gum, candy, mints, and other confectionery products," said Heather Collins, ZOFT media liaison.
ZOFT is a major manufacturer of value-added gums and confections formulated to deliver a host of health and medical benefits to users. ZOFT offers its many products to major retailers for private label. The firm does research, manufactures the product, then takes care of packaging.
"We specialize in value-added confectionery products like antioxidants, dental cleaning/whitening, energy, herbal extracts, smoking cessations, vitamins/minerals, weight management and many more," Collins said.
Medical tests show gum and confections are one of the most effective ways to deliver medicine and nutrients. Many people have difficulty swallowing pills or taking strong tasting medicine. Chewing gum or eating candy is much more pleasurable and leads to consumers taking their supplements with greater regularity.
For each formulation of mint or candy, ingredients are carefully selected for their proven scientific benefits and regulatory approval. The ingredients are blended into gum, candy, or mints. ZOFT requires each product to be proven through extensive testing to ensure the product is both effective and tastes good.
"Demand for our manufacturing is exploding. We spent much of this year planning the expansion of our manufacturing operation. We require the same high standards for the other factories that are involved in making products for our clients," Collins said.
