We are pleased to become an authorized vendor, meeting the unique needs of government agencies and offering a solution for efficiently and cost effectively measuring sleep quality.
Broomfield, CO (PRWEB) November 12, 2013
SleepImage, an innovative medical device company promoting sleep as a foundation for good health, announced today they have been awarded the VA Federal Supply Schedule Contract under Schedule 65IIA Medical Equipment and Supplies.
Under Federal Supply Contract V797D-40006, SleepImage is approved to sell their noninvasive, FDA cleared medical device, which objectively measures sleep quality, to government agencies including the VA and Department of Defense.
"We are pleased to become an authorized vendor, meeting the unique needs of government agencies and offering a solution for efficiently and cost effectively measuring sleep quality," says CEO, David Baker.
Dr. Kelly Olson, Clinical Director of the company, further highlights the benefits of the product to active service men and women as well as Veterans; "Distinguishing whether sleep disturbances are a root cause of illness, like Sleep Apnea, or a co-morbid symptom of conditions like PTSD, Depression or Traumatic Brain Injury can be difficult. Even with successful PTSD treatment, research has shown that sleep dysfunction remains a residual complaint, and if left untreated can be a risk factor in the development of additional mental and physical pathologies." These challenges highlight the importance of early identification and ongoing objective sleep quality monitoring.
SleepImage is now listed on the GSA Advantage! website.
