UsedEverywhere.com today announced the grand prize Post to WIN contest winners along with two iPad mini winners. To enter the contest, participants simply uploaded a household item for sale, trade or free on their local UsedEverywhere.com site.
Winners of the $1,000 grand prizes came from across the continent – as far east as PEI and west to Seattle and Victoria. The $1,000 winners are:
Debbie Shapiro – UsedSeattle.com
Kim le Blanc – UsedPEI.com
Rachelle Radar – UsedRegina.com
Alexis Beringer – UsedVictoria.com
The winners of iPad minis were Irene from UsedOttawa.com and Lael from UsedVictoria.com.
The winners posted a wide range of household items on their local UsedEverywhere.com city site in Canada and the U.S.
The contest has been a big success for the environment and for reducing household clutter. UsedEverywhere.com users managed to keep 47,258 items out of the landfill and helped 28,620 households de-clutter.
“We’d like to congratulate the winners and thank everyone who participated,” said Lacey Sheardown, marketing director at UsedEverywhere.com. “We hope that by participating, our users experienced the benefits of posting items to help them de-clutter, make a bit of money and hand-off household things to fellow residents – items that may have ended up in landfill are now being put to good use.”
