Jackson, MS (PRWEB) November 03, 2013
Morgan & Morgan is pleased to announce that attorney John C. Hall, II has obtained a $150,000 verdict in a premises liability case against a gentlemen’s club.
The client recovered $8,460 in medical bills for three broken ribs and two cracked back teeth that required root canals and crowns, according to court documents.
“This jury courageously sent a message to businesses that deliberately choose to allow untrained employees to harm patrons in their establishments that this behavior will not be tolerated here,” Mr. Hall said.
The jury verdict was unanimous in favor of the plaintiff, who claimed in court documents that he was assaulted by the club’s owner and one of its security guards, and as a result, suffered from serious injuries. The complaint alleged causes of actions for negligent supervision, premises liability, and assault.
Mr. Hall works as a personal injury and medical malpractice trial attorney in the Jackson, Mississippi office at Morgan & Morgan.
