Barry J. Schindler, co-chair of the Global Patent Prosecution Group of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is scheduled to speak at the AIPPI-International Conference on Intellectual Property taking place Sunday, Nov. 10-11, 2013 at the Dan Panorama Convention Center in Tel Aviv.
Schindler will be speaking on Nov. 11 at 11:30 a.m. on the topic “Entrepreneurs: Generating Value from Patents.” According to the AIPPI website, the conference, titled “From IP to NP” - from intellectual property to net profit - will concentrate on patents, brands & trademarks, designs, copyrights and other rights and will address the practical and theoretical issues for businesses.
Schindler has more than twenty years of legal experience in intellectual property law, including multidisciplinary litigation experience. He has helped companies of all sizes build and manage significant patent portfolios, develop in-house procedures and formulate intellectual property strategies. Schindler has wide-ranging experience in business methodology, a rapidly emerging area of intellectual property, and has provided counsel to some of the world's most innovative corporations. He lectures widely on business methods patents. Schindler received his B.S. from Cornell University, and his J.D. from University of Houston Law Center.
