Paladino and Company (Paladino), a pioneering sustainability and green building consulting firm, today announced the opening of its new Austin, Texas office, giving the company a presence in the east, west and central United States. The company’s office in Texas will enable it to better serve its clients nationally, as well as expand its business in one of the nation’s leading markets for green building—Texas . According to United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Texas ranks second in the nation with 2,974 commercial buildings that are Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) registered and certified. In addition, Dallas and Houston are among the top three cities for new construction activity in 2013, according to Forbes.

The Austin office will be led by Brad Pease, Director, Signature Buildings Practice, AIA, LEED® AP BD+C, who has worked in the Paladino’s Seattle headquarters since 2003. In this new location, Pease will continue to lead the company’s Signature Buildings team and serve on its technical consulting team to the U.S. Green Building Council. Pease has a Master of Architecture from University of Texas at Austin.
