Roost, which provides push notifications for mobile websites, now fully supports Safari Push Notifications (Mavericks desktop push solution). Roost allows websites to enable push notifications within Mavericks OS X. Roost’s Safari push notification solution is available at no cost at http://roost.me.

Roost comes equipped with an analytics dashboard that measures user engagement across a variety of metrics. In recent days, Roost also announced (November 13, 2013) a push notification plugin for Wordpress.

Roost CTO Casey Haakenson said, “The release of Safari Push is a game-changer in the web push world. Apple will lead the way and all other browsers will follow suit in the coming years. Web engagement will never be the same.”
