Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 27, 2013
Hope For The Warriors® is proud to be a charity partner for the second annual #GivingTuesday™ on December 3, 2013. #GivingTuesday™ is a movement to create a national day of giving to kick off the giving season added to the calendar on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In the same way that our country focuses on Black Friday, we join other nonprofits in asking everyone to participate in #GivingTuesday™. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
“We are very excited to participate in #GivingTuesday™ this year,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® president said. “Just as most people intend to give gifts to family and friends, we invite everyone to give back to military families during the holiday season.”
As a #GivingTuesday™ partner, Hope For The Warriors® encourages the public to be generous in whatever ways matter to them, whether that means volunteering or donating. Visit http://givingtuesday.org/partner/hope-for-the-warriors-2/ to view the Hope For The Warriors® #GivingTuesday™ partner page.
