Dr. Mostofi was born in Iran and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area with his family at a very young age. He graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neuroscience, Physiology, and Behavior. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his residency and fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia where he served as a Chief Fellow during his final year. After completing his training he joined Associates in Hematology-Oncology at Crozer Regional Cancer Center, a Fox Chase Cancer Center Affiliate. He has a passion for teaching and his work with the medical students and residents earned him an appoint of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine by Temple University School of Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Mostofi likes to spend time with his wife and two sons. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys participating in sports including soccer, tennis, fishing, and skiing.

Dr. Mostofi will be joining seventeen other physicians on staff at The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation starting December 2013 and will be seeing patients out of their locations in Lynwood.
