Digital Sports Group announce winners of PFA Fans' Player of the Month November 2013
(PRWEB UK) 2 December 2013 -- Fans were asked to vote for their player of the month for November and they responded in their masses. Giving their support to the players they feel have impressed them the most during this seasons first full month of fixtures.
The polls are now closed, the votes have been counted and it is now time to reveal the winners of the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for November 2013.
Premier League winner: Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
Luis Suarez retains his title as PFA Fan's Player of the Month for November after scoring 3 goals in 4 matches whilst the voting was open. Suarez scored twice as Liverpool demolished Fulham at Anfield with the final score being 4-0 to Brendan Rodgers side. The Uruguayan netted again in the first Merseyside derby of the 2013/14 season, helping his side achieve a 3-3 draw at Goodison Park. The fact that Suarez has won this award for the second consecutive month shows just how important he is to Liverpool's title chances.
Championship winner: Ross McCormack (Leeds United)
What a month it's been for Leeds United's Ross McCormack. The 27-year-old has scored a hugely impressive 7 goals in 4 games during the month of November, including 4 goals in 1 game against Charlton Athletic winning him praise not only from Leeds manager Brian McDermott but also from opposition manager Chris Powell. A brace against Championship struggler's Yeovil no doubt contributed to McCormack being voted PFA Player of the Month for November for the Sky Bet Championship.
League One winner: Nahki Wells (Bradford City)
Bermuda international Nahki Wells produced some brilliant performances during the month of November to help Bradford push up the table towards the play-off places. The 23-year-old scored a dramatic last-minute penalty to complete a hat-trick and help Bradford claim a point against Coventry after being 3-2 down against the Sky Blues at half time. Wells scored 5 goals in 6 games overall whilst the voting was open and was rewarded by fans voting in their masses to crown the player PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November for the League One
League Two winner: James Constable (Oxford United)
Oxford United's James Constable has been an integral part of the team during the month of November as Oxford look to push for top spot in League Two. The 29-year-old has scored netted twice in 6 games whilst the voting was open, scoring crucial goals against Morecambe and Mansfield, which also happened to be Constable's 100th goal for the club.
