Solace is a soft hood fashion accessory with headphones built in. Its simple design helps to create a personal space in a public setting.
"It's difficult to tune out the commotion around us" says Designer, Jessica Chan. "Weather it's while riding the bus or on a plane, when trying to study or at work." Jessica created a solution that helps close out the hectic outside world but let's users stay more alert than with more traditional headphones. Enter, Solace Audio Hoodie.
"Solace was inspired by the hustle and bustle of city life. All the sights, sounds, smells, people, feelings and emotions that it evokes. Sometimes to drown everything around, people plug in their headphones and it takes them somewhere else. But what if we could be further immersed at times where we really need it?" explains Chan.
Combining a soft padded hood with high quality speakers, Solace added a degree of tactility and blocked out not only the noises but also the visual distractions as well. Solace comes with different color selections, so while users enjoy their personal space, they can still show case their own style.
