What we are trying to do at The Spoiled Child Limited is to make the game easily accessible to the general public, so that everyone can freely enjoy the popularity of this dance experience.
London, England (PRWEB) December 04, 2013
The Spoiled Child Limited, a UK based technology company, recently unveiled a new mobile application for iPhones that allows consumers to 'twerk'. It's called "The Twerking Game", and users have described the gaming experience as, "Ten seconds of intense entertainment."
The style of dance known as 'twerking' is defined by the Oxford dictionary as "dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance." The dance has been around for more than 20 years but the word itself was only added to the Oxford Dictionary this year for a critical reason: its rise in popularity after the Video Music Awards (VMA) in America in August 2013. Miley Cyrus's VMA performance included a controversial segment which showcased her twerking with singer and performer Robin Thicke. Cyrus made headlines again in the UK only days ago when she recreated the controversial dance—using dwarf performers—at her 21st birthday party, and the dance has even launched a gym craze based on twerking movements.
"The Twerking Game" is a single player game that allows Apple iPhone users to initiate 'twerking' hip movements from their onscreen character by tapping the touchscreen of their smartphones. The game is played in 10 seconds spurts with each twerking movement accumulating points for the user. The app is free, fast paced, and addictive to play.
Owner Evan Yu was thrilled to announce the release of this latest mobile app. "Popularized by pop artist Miley Cyrus, twerking has become a social phenomenon, yet it requires strong core strengths and skilled technique. What we are trying to do at The Spoiled Child Limited is to make the game easily accessible to the general public, so that everyone can freely enjoy the popularity of this dance experience."
The Spoiled Child Limited initiated operations in October 2008 out of London, England as an online t-shirt retailor with a focus on outrageous t-shirts and even attempted to sell the world's most expensive t-shirt. In 2013, the company reincorporated in London as an iOS developer. The company is located at 8, 27 Slingsby Place, Covent Garden, London WC2E 9AB.
