Microsoft and Intacct partner, Synergy Business Solutions, announced today it has acquired 30 Dynamics SL clients based in Michigan and Ohio from another Microsoft partner and opened a new office in Central Ohio to better support these clients based in the Central and Eastern time zones. Synergy’s headquarters are in Portland, Oregon, with other offices in Seattle, Boise, and Helena, Montana.

“With a presence in the Midwest and in the Eastern time zone, we now have 12 hours of technical support available for all of our clients across the country,” said Cindy Smith, Senior Client Services Manager at Synergy Business Solutions.

Out of Synergy’s 280-plus client base, the 30 clients in Ohio and Michigan represent a variety of project-based organizations, most of which utilize Dynamics SL’s project accounting modules, with representative industries in professional services, event planning, software, make-to-order manufacturing, and the nonprofit sector.

Shortly after the Ohio office opened, Synergy had its first Midwest Microsoft Dynamics SL user group meeting at the Microsoft campus in Southfield, Michigan. These user group meetings will occur two or three times a year. Their purpose is to inform and train clients in the use of updated versions of Microsoft Dynamics SL and other third-party software that integrates with Dynamics SL.
